Fab Lilly Finds!
Hello Lilly!!
Call the preppies in is a little throw back to something that we used to say where I grew up. It’s a deviation of Call the cows in since I grew up on a ranch in Midlo, TX, and yes that stands for “middle of nowhere”. Well, actually, that’s my BFF’s interpretation of my hometown. I have an amazing family, wonderful friends, and the most rewarding job in the world- I teach.
My day so far... went to church, doing chores, and want to take advantage of the Kate Spade coupon I ran across thanks to
I love Friday nights! I think it's the sense of accomplishment feeling that I crave. I'm getting things ready for our first Math TAKS tutoring program in the morning @ 8am. It will last 4 hours. Not really sure how this is going to go over, but we'll soon find out. Thought I might take Krispy Kremes to the kiddos.
Whew...
I can't believe this is shown as a dress- it's waaaaaayy to short for me. I got a small and plan to wear it with dark skinny jeans. I tried it on and it hits at good places- no need to wear a tank- even better. Great price too.
I dropped off "B" at the airport this morning @ 5AM so he would have one less cab ride in his day.
So, "B" and I had a GREAT TIME today trying out 2 new recipes- they were both deeelicious! One of my favorite things in the world is Spinach artichoke dip. I like the fake from the store, the kind from Chili's and some of the best I've ever had is from Houston's until we found this recipe! It's very fresh and not loaded up with mayo like most.
Yesterday, I had on my cute lil' orange sandals with denim skirt and multi-colored spring scarf ( that I just got from Anthropologie- it's really cute, tried to find pic to post but no luck) and was warm with somewhat of a tan( yes, I gave in and got a tanning membership a few weeks ago). I look forward to the 10-15 min nap, not to mention how wonderful the heat feels on my body. I am always cold!
Is a beating! Seriously, to stay that quiet for that long is crazy! Writing test was today and Math is about 29 days away. We teach 183 days (or close to that) all year for the state to look at the results of 1 of them. No cell phones went off, so that was a good thing! I actually had my kiddos take their batteries out just to make sure we were safe.
I've enjoyed keeping up with everyone and I have no excuse for waiting so long to post..Anyway, I have tons to catch you guys up on, so bare with me as I post little by little.
